II. Childcare

In the area of childcare, the Programme CZ11 

focused on promoting preventive activities, both 

activities towards the prevention of diseases 

and injuries (primary prevention) and the 

early detection of health problems that have 

already arisen (secondary prevention), and, 

concurrently, improving poor health, minimising 

disability and returning the patient to normal 

life (tertiary prevention). This area also includes 

care for patients with rare diseases.
