Specialised therapeutic and counselling assistance for children affected by domestic violence (DV)/intimate partner violence (IPV). LOCIKA´s services are designed to reduce the trauma in children from DV/IPV, stop violence in the family and strengthen the parent-child relationships. The services are led by innovative methodology of WORK WITH ENTIRE FAMILY AT RISK, including the perpetrator. Applied methodology puts strong focus on MULTIDISCIPLINARY COOPERATION, working closely with social and legal services within child protection as well as the Police of the Czech Republic and other key proffessions.

In addition, Centrum LOCIKA also leads accredited training in work with entire family at risk of DV/IPV for professionals working with children; coordinates regular multi-sectoral round tables; organises annual conference devoted to child protection; publishes in the media; and carries out research activities in partnership with Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. As the Czech incubator of know how in work with entire family at risk of domestic violence, Centrum LOCIKA presented its innovative methodology at International Congress on Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) in Prague in 2018 and received expert support of Edison - Acceleration Programme for Social Innovations to initiate scaling of LOCIKA´s services to further regions in 2020.

B. Exchange expertise / know how in: work with entire family at risk of domestic violence (in the best interest of the child), including perpetrators. multidisciplinary approach to support of children affected by domestic violence research and data based evidence advocacy
