Microbrewery - Záky Chateau is the most endangered cultural monument in Central Bohemia. We have been working on saving it since 2016. The chateau currently has a new roof and a valid building permit to repair the building. We also have all permits to build a micro-brewery at the chateau premises.

We have already brewed our own unpasteurized and unfiltered ceaft beer at the nearby brewery in Kutná Hora. Soon after the reconstruction the beer will be brewed at the chateau. The microbrewery will bring meaningful use of the Zaky monument. There will also be a community center for the surrounding villages.

We are interested in partnering with microbreweries from Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein. The aim of the partnership is to get from simple beer consumption to beer tasting nad cooking and to promote crafted beers. The partnership will focus on exchage of experience with cooking unfiltered beers, promotion, tasting and education. We would like to organize personal meetings with partners in our chateau where we will brew beers from our and also their ingredients and promote the beers. (for example, days of Icelandic beer in the Central Bohemian region). We believe that this cooperation will help to reduce alcohol consumption and to promote beer tasting as socially bonding experience. Home of our brewery is the Zaky Chateau.
