Project Idea |
The content of the planned project is the reconstruction of another part of the Baroque castle in the village of Koleč, namely the southern wing of the castle. We would like to build an exposition of black kitchen, an "asleep at the chateau" exposition in the reconstructed areas and an exposition on country castles in the Czech Republic and attractions in the region. In this area we are looking for a partner to help us create an exposition on rural castles and mansions (monuments) in donor countries, which would complement other expositions located in the castle. At the same time, the project will also include the reconstruction of a baroque granary located in the chateau complex, where we plan to create an exhibition of folk rural toys. At the same time, we are also looking for a cooperation partner to create this exposition, where we would welcome the connection of folk rural toys used in the Czech Republic and donor countries. All activities related to the partnership and the creation of exposures would be financed through a subsidy program, incl. photo documentation etc. We will be very pleased to establish cooperation with organizations that are dedicated to the topics outlined here and who would be willing to participate and work with us on our project. |

Extra |
On the website (http://www.zamekkolec.cz/index.asp) you will find not only something about the organization of the Koleč Endowment Fund itself, but also an overview of organized events in the already reconstructed part of the chateau and also photographs of its current state. The project aims to achieve greater use of the chateau and increased public interest in the history of not only our country, but also the focus of our project partner. |
