Praskolesy is a municipality whose aim is to take care of regional development with an emphasis on the protection of cultural and historical heritage. The considered building is a valuable historic building from the 17th century, the construction of which was completed in the 18th century. The renovation of the building enables its rehabilitation as a valuable historic site as well as its modern utilisation not only for the purposes of municipal authority but also for planned local museum, which will also serve as a cultural institution for locals, school youth and tourists.

Specific outputs of the project are:

• local museum with expositions (museum of Praskolesy village and Karlstejn deans)
• multilateral utilization (e. g. for lectures, seminars, weddings, welcoming of newborn babies and other municipal celebrations)
• specialist study rooms
• utilization of the contiguous surroundings for cultural events, concerts etc.
• workshops for children
• long term partnership with an opportunity to organize an Exchange
• projects in the area of running the historical museum
• maintaining a historical monuments
• any other projects which can be placed around the building
