Sambucus is an association of people who wants to support a social and community life in a small village in Vysocina region in the Czech Republic. We have many experiences in the field of youth activation, local authorities cooperation and participation democracy decision making. The biggest topic for us is protection of the cultural heritage and the unusual use of cultural monuments. We have many experiences in environmental issues and regional development also.

We want to save and restore a Baroque building from the world famous architect Santini in a small village and use it sustainably for community life in the village. We are looking for a partner with whom we will be able to share experiences with activating the community and deepening its cooperation, or with experinces with non-traditional use of cultural monuments. The partner may be a municipality, a non-profit organization or another legal entity with experience in this direction.
