The union has 5 members - municipalities from the Mountains Krušné hory. It is a location with beautiful nature, which is attractive for tourists, but at the same time there are many socio-economic problems. The specificity of the area is the neighborhood of the rich ski resort and municipalities with high unemployment and low level of education. Municipalities in the Union want to address these dilemmas and improve citizen involvement in public debates.
