GENERAL INFORMATION	The main aim of the Programme is to halt loss of biodiversity through activities aimed at increasing the capacity to manage and monitor Natura 2000 sites effectively, increasing public awareness and education on biodiversity and ecosystem services, improving the integration of biodiversity considerations into sectoral policies and legislation and preventing the fragmentation of ecosystems.
