| Objective of the Project |
The project MIDPOINT/ Iceland - Midnight Sun Script Development Workshop addresses the current need in Island for partnerships that will supplement and cultivate the trainings in the field of film education, as well as create opportunities for emerging Icelandic film talent abroad. The project partners are the Film and TV School (FAMU) from the Czech Republic and Icelandic Film School from Iceland. The main aim is to organize a joint workshop on script development and master classes, to strengthen mutually human capital and know-how there and thus to promote and encourage the mobility of film students, trainers and professionals between Iceland and the Czech Republic. The result of the project will be Czech-Icelandic networking within the film industry and new bilateral cooperation agreement with the aim to institutionalize and strengthen previous cooperation of both schools, which would be beneficial for the students as the main target group of the project. |
