Objective of the Project |
The main idea of the mobility project was to provide an advanced platform for sharing the extensive experience and knowledge of the involved parties in the development of simulation models for developing effective solutions to some physical problems. In particular, the aim was to discuss and present advanced methods of programming, simulation, statistics, and optimization for given applied physics problems. The project took advantage of the combination of the deep knowledge and practical competence of the Czech and Norwegian partners in the areas of applied computer science and physics. The result of the cooperation was a significant enhancement of existing long-lasting collaboration among the partner organizations, with an intensive transfer of knowledge and a high integration of know-how. A significant aim of the project was the effort to prepare a preliminary concept for a joint international project. |
