| Objective of the Project |
The project was being held in cooperation on common research interests of the Institutions in Performance Oriented Architecture (POA) through the Systems Oriented Design (SOD) method. Those fields are represented at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design by international key persons in the disciplines, POA by Michael Hensel and SOD by Birger Sevaldson. The case study of FUA TUL’s Ph.D. student’s Marie Davidova’s, research on Wood as a Primary Medium to Architectural Performance were applied and the results were presented to the academy. In the same time, the project covered the advising of Marie Davidova’s Ph.D. project, the workshop, public lectures, discussions, common critiques, conference attendance, and publications, which helped to introduce the field to the academic audience and strengthen the engagement in the common interest of the institutions and their connections. |
