| Objective of the Project |
The main aim of the project is geological storage of carbon dioxide. The project is crucial step to raise the technology readiness from the level of technology tested under laboratory conditions to the level of technology tested in the relevant environment. The project´s sub-objectives include among others assessment of selected geological structure (the site of exhausted oil deposits) as o potential storage for a pilot research project for the geological storage of CO2, reassessment of the potential of the rock structures of the Carpathian Mountains in the CR in terms of the possibilities of storing CO2 and information exchange and particular research cooperation with Norwegian partner. |
