Objective of the Project |
The aim of the project is research of the CO2 removal technology from flue gas using high-temperature carbonate looping and its validation in laboratory scale. Output of the project will be a study of laboratory testing of CO2 removal using the carbonate looping method at two laboratory apparatuses and preparation of materials for the construction of a pilot facility operating on this principle. The research work will also include the creation of a dynamic model of the LCA of the environmental impacts assessment of high-temperature carbonate looping, building a database of technological sources of CO2 suitable for the application of the CO2 capturing technology using high temperature carbonate looping and materials research for materials applicable for the construction of high-temperature carbonate looping technology. |
