Objective of the Project |
The project is aimed at monitoring and evaluation of significant point and non-point sources of pollution in a drinking water reservoir catchment. The target parameters will be organics, suspended solids, nutrients and pharmaceuticals. The project will also assess and propose effective land and agricultural management practices or measures and wastewater treatment technologies, namely constructed wetlands. The results from the monitoring will be used for modelling of the water quality and balance in the catchment. |
