Approval of two pre-defined projects of Motol University Hospital within Programme CZ11

On 23rd July 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ11 approved funding to implement two pre-defined projects of Motol University Hospital – “Support of the activities of the National Coordination Centre for the prevention of injuries, violence and child safety“ and “National Coordinating Centre for rare diseases at the Motol University Hospital”.
Both projects contribute to overall aim of the programme – improvement of access and quality of health care, including reproduction and preventive health care for children. Projects focus especially on preventive measures in the health care area. Both projects are implemented in partnership with Norwegian institutions.
The project supporting of the activities of the National Coordinating Centre for the prevention of injuries, violence and child safety ensures system solution of child injury prevention area and violence on children through concentration of now fragmented activities into the one national centre. The objective of the project is to increase awareness and positive public reaction to preventive measures system. Education of experts, creation of expert methodologies, creation of preventive activities etc. will be implemented within the project.
Overall budget of the project is 15 260 234 CZK / 575 858 EUR.
The second project supports activities of the National Coordinating Centre for rare diseases at the Motol University Hospital. The aim of the project is to extend awareness and knowledge about rare diseases, implementation of new diagnostics methods, development of rare diseases education for medical students and improvement of health care for patients.
Overall budget of the project is 24 601 526 CZK / 928 359 EUR.
