The Final conference to the project “Prevention of the third party violence (from clients, patients, family members, etc.) in social and health facilities“ was held on 13 October 2014. The project was supported by the program CZ22 “Global Fund for Decent Work and Tripartite Dialogue”.

The conference was organised by the Centre for Development Activities of the Union of Employers' Associations of the Czech Republic in collaboration with the Sectoral Trade Union of Health Professionals and Social Workers under the auspices of the Minister of Health, Svatopluk Němeček. The conference was also attended by the Norwegian Ambassador, H.E. Siri Ellen Sletner.

The goal of the project is to prepare the employees to prevent conflicts, manage emergency situations at the workplace if the need arises and to create institutional support for maintaining the output of the project based on better social dialogue, decent work and safer working place improving.

The conference summarised the results of the project including its evaluation. In the next part of the conference the experience of Norwegian partners was presented. The Norwegian partner is Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities. The representatives of organisations involved in the project describe the incidence of violence in facilities and preventive measures.
