The exhibition “Norwegian winter in Liberec” was opened by HE Jens Eikaas, Norwegian ambassador in the Czech Republic on 9th December 2013. The event which will take place in the Regional Library in Liberec till 9th January 2014 will present various forms of the Norwegian-Czech cooperation in the area of education, culture and sport. The EEA and Norway Grants represent an important link between the two countries. A large number of interesting projects totalling €104.6 million was supported in the previous period 2004 - 2009. The overall allocation for the current programming period 2009 - 2014 was set at €131.8 million.

The Communication Strategy for the Czech Republic - EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014" (hereinafter "Communication Strategy") approved by letter of 28 June 2012.The Communication strategy defines priorities publicity EEA and Norwegian Funds for the programming period 2009 - 2014, objectives and target groups, including the strategy of planned activities and communication tools. The document also defined evaluation criteria relating to knowledge and awareness of the EEA and Norwegian funds, their focus, impact and the role of donor countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway).
