The final ‘Blue Book’ containing the priority sectors and programme areas for the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 was published by the donors on 27 September 2016.

The ‘Blue Book’ describes the priority sectors and programme areas eligible for funding under the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. Its content reflects the joint experience built up between donor and beneficiary countries in the previous funding period 2009-2014. The priorities in the ‘Blue Book’ also take into account the major challenges Europe is currently facing.

It is important to point out that these priorities only serve as an exhaustive menu of possible programme areas and not all programme areas will be supported in all beneficiary states. The final number and focus of the programme areas for the Czech Republic will be therefore based on the bilateral negotiations between the Czech Republic and the donor states (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), taking into consideration both the priorities of the Czech Republic and the donor states as well as the amount of funds allocated to the Czech Republic, and will be agreed in the Memoranda of Understanding (bilateral agreements between the donor states and the Czech Republic).
