Project description:
The project solves the most pressing problems of the dance genre - where to find resources and where exactly to invest effectively in professional dance art, implementation of a defined status of professional artist in Czech legislation, including sufficiently effective protection and support of the dance profession with regard to the specifics of work and conditions for the performance of the profession of dancer and the inclusion of this issue in the objectives of the cultural policy of the Czech Republic for the coming period.
The key activities of the project focus on the elaboration of a spatial and financial analysis of the needs and conditions for the performance of artistic work of the independent dance scene of the Czech Republic versus publicly established theaters with ballet ensembles. Furthermore, the processing of analysis and definition of the status of a professional artist.
Last but not least, to strengthen the skills and competencies of individual members of the Association of Dance Artists of the Czech Republic, which will be implemented in the form of webinars, educational seminars and professional workshops (with the participation of foreign experts).
The new online communication platform TANUM (TANeční UMění) will serve to support the cooperation of members of the Association of Dance Artists of the Czech Republic and members of the Strategic Team from regional cultural centers and subsequent communication with representatives of the public.
