Project description:

The aim of the project is to increase the effectiveness of NCOZ (National Center against Organized Crime) activitites in the areas of the fight against corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing. There are not enough funds available in Police of the Czech Republic (PCR) budget to cover provision of high-level trainings for officer’s terrorism financing and special modern IT tools reflecting the latest developments.

Project goal is to deepen special qualifications of NCOZ experts and to provide them with IT tools necessary to effectively combat experienced and dispose of extensive know-how as well as enormous funds and take full advantage of the latest modern technologies.

Thanks to the project, high quality trainings will be provided to the police and as a result a special software designed to trace virtual currencies – which are being used by offenders, will be acquired. Altogether, police experts equipped with high-level qualification and modern software will be able to deal with the sophisticated crime much better. .
