Project description:
The aim of the project is to strengthen and professionalize patient organizations so that they can provide irreplaceable services to their members - patients and to be able to participate in processes in the field of health care and bring impulses and feedback di-rectly from the users of care themselves. The unique space of the Patient Hub will serve for this purpose.
The Patient hub, which will be established in Prague (Vršovice) will be open not only to pa-tients and members of patient organizations, but also to the public in the second half of 2020. The barrier-free and technically equipped space will serve for education, sharing of know-how and experience or as a working background for patients and patient organizations.
The Norwegian partner of the project is the Norwegian Rheumatism Association, which will contribute primarily in the form of consultations in the development of the portal, in the prepa-ration of workshops and training for patient organizations and sharing of know-how in the field of professional patient organizations.
Functions of the Pacient Hub:
- Space for education and training of patient organizations, individual patients and public (lectures, workshops, conferences etc.)
- A web portal with easily accessible information for all. The portal will contain information about the activities of HUB, e-learning (educational materials, webinars, etc.), video record-ings from events (podcasts, sign language, etc.). Thanks to the CRM system (customer re-lationship management) it will be possible to target individual patients and patient organiza-tions (newsletter, invitations to events, etc.).
- Space for networking and sharing experience and best practice amongst each other and with ther stakeholders in health care (NGO, medical students, doctors, academics, app de-velopers etc.).
