On 12 March 2024, a new police training facility was ceremonially openede in Kutná Hora. The symbolic ribbon cutting marked the start of operation of the modern facility, which is intended to serve for the education of police officers and police employees, but also to support local and state government.
On 22 September 2021, a foundation stone laying ceremony was held on the occasion of the construction of a police training centre in Kutná Hora.
Applicant training will take place online on 3 June 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
The Department of Financial Mechanisms and Structural Funds of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic is looking for the evaluators of the project applications that will be submitted in the Call for Proposal "Fostering media literacy of the general public under the Small Grant Scheme of the Programme "Home Affairs" of the Norway Grants 2014-2021".
The new Programme "Home Affairs" was officially launched at the conference in the building of the Ministry of Interior in Prague on 27 March 2019. The Ministry of the Interior as the Program Operator will receive the grant of € 5 million from the Norway Grants 2014-2021 to enhance police competence in preventing and combating crime.
