Project Description:

The project of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic which is implemented in cooperation with the Norwegian organization Alternativ til Vold (Alternative of Violence), responds to the problem of domestic and gender-based violence.

The individual activities will contribute to increase the capacity of public administration to effectively combat domestic and gender-based violence and help to improve prevention of sexual violence among young people through education in schools. The film “Angry Man” will also be used to increase the public awareness.

Bilateral and international cooperation will contribute to increase state expertise in domestic and partner violence. The project also aims to increase knowledge of the extent and forms of online sexism in Czech society and to improve the ability of the police to respond to new forms of sexual violence in cyberspace and to sensitize victims.
