Project description:
The purpose of the project is to address clients in pre-defined areas (housing, employment, family relations, economic, spiritual and psychological) in order to enable their successful reintegration into everyday life.
The Mentoring Programme will be available in 4 prisons in the Czech Republic (Vinařice, Odolov, Olomouc, Jiřice). The main part of the project is the actual implementation of the Mentoring Programme. It will be carried out by a broad team of experienced people with relevant education and experience. The great advantage is that it brings together these experienced people who can add to the quality of the project with their practical experience and skills. The success of the project will depend on the personal bond between the client and the mentor.
The aim of the project is to develop and implement a new service that will help to create appropriate conditions for the resocialisation and reintegration of clients and to support the clients involved in making positive changes and activating them to solve their problems.
The benefit of the project will be the existence of a new service that will ultimately contribute to improving the resocialisation process and ultimately to reducing recidivism. In the case of follow-up of other programmes or replication of the project, there will also be a societal development in this area.
