Objective of the Project |
The project focuses on making heard the voice of a child in foster care through training of social workers from accompanying organizations in the process of fulfillment foster care agreements and in a subsequent dialogue of the workers with clients - i.e. with children in foster care and with the foster parents - about the rights of the children and methods of their communication and exercising. Project outputes are: 1. Methods to establish the child´s opinions and communication with the child; it will also include methods to pro-actively involve the child into the decision-making processes (informing the child about its rights, supporting the child´s position and the child´s self-confidence in the decision-making processes). 2. Pilot test of the methodology – to verify correctness and applicability of the professional materials (methodology) pilot tests will be performed (3 courses). 3. Courses for the professional public (25 courses)
