The 7th Annual Meeting of EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 was held in Prague on 20 September 2024. 

The Donor States delegation (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) was led by Mr Jon Erik Strømø, the Director of the Section for Central Europe and the EEA/Norway Grants from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway. On behalf of the Donors States the meeting was also attended by Mr Ágúst Már Ágústsson from the Icelandic Embassy in Berlin, Ms Alina Brunhart from the Mission of Liechtenstein to the EU, representatives of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prague, representatives of the Financial Mechanisms Office and other guests from Norway and Liechtenstein. The Czech delegation was led by Ms Zuzana Matyášová, the Director of International Relations Department at the Ministry of Finance and the Head of the National Focal Point for EEA and Norway Grants in the Czech Republic. On behalf of the Czech delegation the meeting was also attended by other representatives of the National Focal Point, the Certifying Authority, the Audit Authority and last but not least the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Issues related in particular to the closure of programmes, actual risks, lessons learned from the implementation of EEA and Norway Grants, bilateral cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Donor States and the visibility of the EEA and Norway Grants in the Czech Republic were discussed during the meeting. The EEA and Norway Grants Strategic Report for the period September 2023 – June 2024 was approved during the Annual Meeting.
