The State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic launches the first call in the Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change Programme, in which it will offer legal entities CZK 26 million to develop adaptation strategies to adapt to climate change at local and regional level. In the call, named after the Norwegian metropolis, applicants can receive up to 1,3 million Czech crowns, respectively cover up to 90 percent of the project’s eligible costs. The applications can be submitted online from January 14 to March 15, 2020.
The Minister of the Environment approved a grant for the first three initiatives to receive financial support from Bilateral fund under the Environment, Ecosystem and Climate Change Programme.

To promote mutual cooperation and exchange of experience between Norway and the Czech Republic in environmental protection – this is the aim of the new Bilateral Fund call, named after the well-known Norwegian natural attraction „Trolltunga.“ The call was announced by the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment as part of the Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change Program. It has a total of 2,6 million crowns for so-called bilateral initiatives.
A contact seminar for potential applicants and project partners from the donor state will be held on 10 April 2019 in Prague. The Seminar is part of the Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change Program, funded by the Norway Grants 2014-2021.
