| Objective of the Project |
With Scintilla Tour project we plan to present a new concert programme of Beata Hlavenková to international audiences at 10 concerts in Norway and 1 concert in Prague. For purposes of the tour a new programme will be created in collaboration with a Norwegian pianist Anders Aarum. The creative starting point is the last Beata’s album Theodoros awarded „Anděl“ (prestigious Czech music award) in the category „Jazz and blues“ and which was positively received in both Czech Republic and abroad. It represents a kind of peak in Beata’s musical carreer to date. Besides Theodoros a completely new project Scintilla is in the first stages of development. Both works will form a platform and a source of inspiration for a link between two musical approaches. Main objective of the project is to present the programme to the widest possible audiences and broaden awareness of one of the most respected Czech authors of contemporary jazz music on the international level. |
