The 6th Annual Meeting of EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 was held in Prague on 29 November 2023. 

In connection with the EEA and Norway Grants Annual Meeting in the Czech Republic, we seize the opportunity to spotlight proFem, a beacon of hope and transformation in addressing violence against women. Last week's visit coincides with a crucial time when the European Union's recent ratification of the Istanbul Convention and UN Women's 'Orange the World' campaign bring into sharp focus the importance of combating gender-based violence.

Primary schools in Kutná Hora regon were part of the pilot project in the past two years. It brings a new perspective on the problematic behavior of children, on its causes and on how to deal with it successfully. It emphasizes the mental health of children and brings a team of experts to schools.

The Forum 50 % Project #StopHate: Raising Awareness about Various Forms of Violence against Women in Political and Public Life drew attention to a topic that is not addressed much in Czech society. Women are exposed to many times more attacks on their person in public than men.

Connected by glass! strengthens the renown of the Iron and Brod glassmaking tradition at home and in the world.

The projects All Together and Motivation for education from kindergarten to high school - supporting children and parents, help to reduce the gap between Roma and the majority society.

VOL Mentorink project helps people in prison to find their way in society

Concrete surfaces in cities are not only an aesthetic problem, but also have a negative impact on the environment and the quality of life of the inhabitants. The project REPLACE - Green in place of concrete in Ostrava seeks to address this issue by transforming unused concrete areas into green zones that have the ability to regulate the ambient temperature, improve air quality and create a more pleasant living environment for citizens and visitors to the city.

Project Youth for Climate engages young people, educators and local governments in influencing climate change. It is implemented by the Centre for Environmental Education SEVER and focuses on motivating and involving the young generation in climate protection at the local level.

Ministry of Finance – National Focal Point for EEA and Norway Grants in the Czech Republic will allow submission of the grant applications under the fourth open call of the Fund for Bilateral Relations on 1st August 2023.
