The Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator issues the Guidelines for beneficiaries of grants funded from programmes Health, Culture, Good Governance, Human Rights and Justice. An updated version of the Guidelines and selected annexes was approved on 28th January 2021 and translated into English.

The Ministry of Finance, Programme Operator of the Human Rights Programme, in cooperation with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic announces on 25 November 2020 Open Call for proposals (HROVA3 - Establishing new specialized services for victims of gender-based violence) for projects funded by the Norway Grants 2014-2021. The Call is announced on the occasion of the International Day of the Elimination of Violence against Women.
On December 15, 2020 the Open Society Fund Prague (hereafter referred to as OSF Prague) and Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation (hereafter referred to as VDV) on behalf of a consortium of the Active Citizens Fund announces the open interim call for proposals on action grants for local initiatives or one-off local events that trying to start events in their community or that further develop existing civic activities and cooperation at the local level.
The 3rd EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 Annual Meeting took place on 24 November 2020 via videoconference.
The State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic will offer more than 31 million Crowns from Norway grants for eco-education and information projects. In the newly announced grant call called "Reine", Fund will support projects in four areas - improving the environmental status in ecosystems, reducing the adverse effects of human activity on air quality, reducing the adverse effects of human activity on water quality, mitigating climate change and adapting to climate change at the local level. It will support not only educational programs aimed at schools, the lay and professional public, but new television documentaries and radio programs, publications and online campaigns can also be created. Electronic receipt of applications will start on 15 December 2020 and will last until mid-February next year.
The Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, announces on 23 June 2020 Calls for proposals of projects focusing on Roma inclusion and empowerment (HROVA1A – Support for Roma platforms at local and regional level, HROVA1B – Capacity building of Roma advisors).
On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, a Match-making seminar of the Good Governance Programme took place. The seminar aimed to mediate contact between those interested in the SGS Call of the Good Governance Programme from the Czech Republic and potential donor project partners from Iceland and Norway.

On 24 September 2020, the Ministry of Finance – National Focal Point for the EEA and Norway Grants in the Czech Republic increased the allocation of the third Open Call for submission of Grant applications for bilateral initiatives under the Fund for Bilateral Relations within the framework of the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.
The Financial Mechanism Office (“the FMO”) announces call no. 2020-1 seeking the submission of proposals for grants for transnational projects under the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment.
Organization of seminars for the professional public, creation of joint analysis, improvement of mutual understanding, and often also agreements on ongoing cooperation and joint projects. These are the results of the so-called bilateral initiatives of the Health Programme supported by the EEA and Norway Grants. Their participants focused on sharing experiences, for example in the field of eating disorders, the involvement of peer consultants in care in acute psychiatric wards, or the availability of follow-up care for people with aphasia.
Up to 200 000 EUR for the conservation of endangered natural habitats and red-listed plant or animal species can be obtained for those interested in the new subsidy Call from the Norway Grants. In the "Rondane” Call, the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic offers a total of EUR 3 million for small rescue projects in localities outside specially protected areas. The submission of applications will start on September 14, 2020.
Area of Support: Mental health of children and adolescents
Area of Support: Prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases of people living in socially excluded localities, mainly Roma.
Up to 104 million crowns is dedicated for the construction of green-blue infrastructure and the implementation of adaptation measures to climate change. Funds from the Call "Bergen" will help cities to better manage weather extremes, maintain moisture in the landscape and improve the overall quality of life of their inhabitants.
The State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic launches a call "Tromso" in the Program "Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change". In total 2,5 million EUR is prepared for cities, municipalities and other applicants for monitoring and analysis of the air condition. The grant will cover up to 100% of eligible project costs.

The Museum of Romani Cultur announced the winner of the landscape-architectural competition for the form of the future memorial “Lety: Memorial to the Holocaust of the Roma and Sinti in Bohemia”.
The Museum of Romani Culture will open the Centre of Roma and Sinti in Prague (Prage 6 - Dejvice), which will be the first of its kind in the capital. This memory institution will not only present Romani history and spiritual and material culture, but will also become a social and community center offering educational and cultural activities to the general public.
The Department of Financial Mechanisms and Structural Funds of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic is looking for the evaluators of the project applications that will be submitted in the Call for Proposal "Fostering media literacy of the general public under the Small Grant Scheme of the Programme "Home Affairs" of the Norway Grants 2014-2021".
With regards to the adverse development of the epidemiological situation in Europe and connected Extraordinary measures declared by the Government and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic the deadline for submission of applications was extended in the following open calls.
