The last part of results of the verification of the selection process within the first open call under the Programme CZ02 was approved by the Programme operator on 19th February 2015.

The Open Society Fund Prague published results of special open call for projects focused on prevention of domestic violence.

The Open Society Fund Prague – Programme Operator of Programme CZ12 –“Let´s give (wo)men a chance” published a list of approved projects.

Operator of the Fund for Bilateral Relations at National Level – Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic - announces on 9th January 2015 third Call for submission of applications for a grant from the Fund for Bilateral Relations at National Level within the framework of the EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014.

The Programme CZ05 – “National, Regional, Local Initiatives to Reduce Inter-group Inequalities and to Promote Social Inclusion” is implemented through pre-defined project of the Office of the Government, Agency for Social Inclusion.

The second call for submission of applications within NGO Fund was closed on Friday 5th December 2014. A total of 481 applications were received.

Annex no. 1 of Guidelines for applicants within the open call for applications under the SGS in the Programme area 27 for Activity I. - „Psychiatric care” and for Activity II. – „Healthcare for children” has been updated.

The Ministry of Culture, as Partner of Programme CZ06 “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts” and Operator of the Fund announces on 18th November 2014 the call for applications for a grant to support projects which the Applicants intend to implement within the 2nd Open Call in Programme Area 17 (PA 17) in bilateral cooperation with donor state partners.

On 14th November 2014, the Open Society Fund Prague as the Programme Operator of Let´s Give (Wo)men a Chance Programme is opening the second round of calls for submission of applications for grants. A total of 21.5 million CZK will be distributed for small grants focusing on equal opportunities and domestic violence prevention.

The Programme CZ14 - “Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-Border and Organized Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups” is implemented through six pre-defined projects.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) has announced the results of the open call under the Czech-Norwegian Research Programme financed from the Norway Grants.

The Centre for International Cooperation in Education – Programme Operator of the Programme CZ 07 announces on 5th November 2014 the Open Call for proposals for Preparatory visits within Bilateral Fund at programme within the Norway Grants.

On 16th October 2014 visits of two pre-defined projects within Programme CZ06 and CZ15 were carried out after the 3rd Annual Meeting of EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014

The Ministry of Culture, as Partner of Programme CZ06 “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts” and Operator of the Fund announces on 23 October 2014 this call for applications for a grant to support projects which the Applicants intend to implement within the 2nd Open Call in Programme Area 17 (PA 17) in bilateral cooperation with donor state partners.

The annual EEA and Norway Grants conference on risk and good governance was held in Tallinn (24 - 25 September). The two-day seminar focused on results and risk management in the EEA and Norway Grants.

The Final conference to the project “Prevention of the third party violence (from clients, patients, family members, etc.) in social and health facilities“ was held on 13 October 2014. The project was supported by the program CZ22 “Global Fund for Decent Work and Tripartite Dialogue”.

The Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of the Programme CZ 06 in cooperation with The Ministry of Culture – Programme Partner and the Arts Council Norway – Donor State Programme Partner announces on 23rd October 2014 the second Open Call for applications to fund individual projects within the Programme CZ 06 – “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art” in the Programme area 17 – “Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage”.

The Ministry of Health as Small Grant Scheme (SGS) Operator within the Programme CZ 11 announces on 15th October 2014 open call for applications under the SGS in programme area 27 for Activity I. - „Psychiatric care” and for Activity II. – „Healthcare for children”.

On 16th October 2014 the Ministry of Finance launched the verification of the selection process within the open call in the programme area 16 – Conservation and Revitalisation of cultural and Natural Heritage in programme CZ06 – Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art.

Due to the reallocation within the EEA and Norway Grants 2009 – 2014, the Guidelines and Annexes were modified as regards the allocations and number of calls, as well as procedures necessary for the applicant and the beneficiary.

On 23rd-25th November 2014 the Centre for International Cooperation in Education organizes a contact seminar within the Programme CZ07 – “Scholarship Programme” implemented within the EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture announce that the second Open Call within the Programme CZ06 PA17 is expected to be announced between 20 and 24 October 2014 and will be open for two months following the date of announcement.

On 22nd-23rd September 2014 two seminars and one roundtable took place in Prague and Brno. Representatives from the Academy of Science, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the Norwegian Grant Agency and other institutions from Norway and the Czech Republic talked about research, innovation, technology transfer and evaluation of research activities.

The Civil Society Development Foundation (Programme Operator of the Programme CZ03) in cooperation with the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation announces on 1st October 2014 the second open call for submission of applications under the NGO Programme within the EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014.

On 23rd September 2014, funding to implement pre-defined project of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic - “Increasing the effectiveness of preparation of prisoners before release from Nové Sedlo Prison “ was approved within the Programme CZ15.

On 23rd September 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of the Programme CZ15 approved funding to implement pre-defined project of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic “Increase in the effectiveness of treatment of young adults 18 to 26 years of age in Kuřim Prison”.

On 23rd September 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of the Programme CZ15 approved funding to implement pre-defined project of the Ministry of Justice “Construction of a production and educational hall for retraining courses for prisoners before their release in Příbram Prison”.

Within the first open call under Programme CZ03 – “Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO Programme)” 91 projects were approved.

Open Society Fund Prague announced special open call under Programme Let´s Give Women a Chance within Norway Grants 2009-2014.

On 23rd September 2014, the Civil Society Development Foundation – Programme Operator of Programme CZ03 – “NGO Programme” organizes conference aimed at development of bilateral partnership between the Czech Republic and donor states (Norway, Island, Liechtenstein).

On 9th September 2014, funding to implement pre-defined project of the Financial Analytical Unit “Strengthening of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering systems in the Czech Republic“ was approved within Programme CZ10.

On 29th July 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ06 - “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Art” approved funding to implement pre-defined project of the National Film Archive “Digital Restoration of Czech Film Heritage”.

On 29th May 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ06 - “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts” approved funding to implement pre-defined project of the National Heritage Institute “Industrial Heritage”.

On 20th August 2014, pre-defined project of the Ministry of Justice “Implementing of video-conferencing in the resort of Justice” within Programme CZ15 – “Judicial Capacity-building Cooperation/Correctional Services including Non-custodial Sanctions” was approved.

The project “The creation of the comprehensive psychiatric rehabilitation system for the mentally ill and its Implementation on the inpatient facilities” financed within Programme CZ11 – “Health Care Initiatives” was approved on 5th August 2014.

On 23rd July 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ11 approved funding to implement two pre-defined projects of Motol University Hospital.

On 19th June 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ04 approved funding in amount of 34 651 498 CZK to implement the pre-defined project “Codification of legislation on supporting families, foster care and care of vulnerable children“.

On 5th August 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ05 – approved funding in amount of 39 749 999 CZK to implement the pre-defined project „Campaign against Racism and Hate Violence“ under Programme CZ05 – “National, Regional, Local Initiatives to Reduce Inter-Group Inequalities and to Promote Social Inclusion“.

The Centre for International Cooperation in Education - Programme Operator of Programme CZ07 – “Bilateral Scholarship Programme” - announced the open call for proposals on 26th August 2014.

The Annual Report of the EEA and Norway Grants for previous year was published on 13th August 2014.

On 5th August 2014, the Ministry of Finance – Programme Operator of Programme CZ02 approved funding in amount of 838,400 EUR to implement a pre-defined project „Protection and Sustainable Use of Wetlands in CZ“. The Ministry of Environment is the beneficiary of grant.

Eligible applicants within the small grant scheme in the programme CZ04 – „Children and Youth at Risk“ are except of the entities named in the text of the call also registered legal entities established by registered church and religious society under section 15a, paragraph 1 of Act No. 3/2002 Coll., on churches and religious societies, as amended. The text of the call for submitting grant applications was modified in the section II Eligible applicants, eligible partners.

Regulation on the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism and Regulation on the implementation of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism were changed on 1st July 2014.

As of today, The Open Society Fund Prague is opening the first calls for grant proposals within the Let’s Give (Wo)men a Chance Programme financed by Norway Grants. The Open Society Fund Prague will allocate CZK 126 million to small and large grants focusing on equality of gender opportunities and domestic violence prevention. Grants can be applied for by municipalities, regions, firms, the academic sector, non-governmental and other organisations. They have two months to complete their applications. The deadline is the 14th March 2014. There is an exception for financial support for bilateral cooperation, which can be applied for after this deadline.

The Launch Conference of the Programme CZ02 will take place on Tuesday 28th January 2014 from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m in the venue of Průhonice Castle (Květnové náměstí 1). The main goal of the Conference is to introduce the Programme to experts, general public and representatives of medias. Press conference will be part of the launch Conference.
